Preview of a reading by Christoph Ransmayr and Martin Pollack at the Literaturhaus Graz. Michael Tschida uses the Jazzzwio of Harry Pepl and Werner Pirchner as the image of an ideal duet; the same text appeared in the Neue Vorarlberger Tageszeitung on 20 October 2011.
The crowding of the z's and the tacked-on w also nicely illustrated, visually, what bound the Viennese guitarist and the Tyrolean vibraphonist so closely: artistic density, blind understanding, congeniality.
