On Thursday, 14 July 2016, at 7.30 pm, Ö1 (ORF's cultural radio station) broadcasts Christian Muthspiel's homage “Homesick” from the Jazzfestival Saalfelden 2015 with Franck Tortiller and Jerome Harris. Besides pieces by Werner Pirchner, compositions by his Jazz-Zwio partner Harry Pepl are heard.

Report from the Jazzfestival Saalfelden 2015: Christian Muthspiel, Franck Tortiller and Jerome Harris delve deep into the work of Werner Pirchner and also of the Viennese guitarist Harry Pepl, with whom Pirchner formed the legendary Jazzzwio.
Muthspiel takes the “throaty K” out of this music, but successfully brings out its inner light and its elegance.
