Short report: Pepl had been in the studio with the trumpeter and flugelhorn player Herbert Joos (the result became “Cracked Mirrors”), sessions in France with Jack DeJohnette, Michel Portal and Mino Cinelu would follow in May, and a trio record with DeJohnette and Dave Holland was in preparation. Pepl is introduced as guitar professor at the jazz department of the Graz music academy (today the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz).
