Feature on the trombonist Erich Kleinschuster and the radio recordings of his sextet from 1968 to 1971, which the jazz historian Klaus Schulz released on two double CDs in 2005 and 2007. The Erich Kleinschuster Sextet, founded in 1966, is described as the flagship of Austrian jazz; its changing line-up included Karl Drewo, Fritz Pauer, Harry Pepl, Art Farmer, Benny Bailey and Jimmy Woode.
