Dave Holland had been planned as bassist but dropped out; Pepl later said it was simply the Jazzzwio plus somebody else, and that with Holland it would have been a completely different music. There are differing accounts of the award: Kohler and mica (Austria's music information centre) give the German Record Critics' Award in 1983, while the Österreichisches Musiklexikon speaks of a nomination. Pepl’s own short biography of 2000 (Sammlung Essl) clarifies: the album was on the quarterly list (Vierteljahresliste, best-of list) of the German Record Critics’ Award. The album has never been released on CD; a digital reissue followed on 9 August 2019. Heckel mistakenly gives 1984. The track information is incomplete: only pieces with documented composition by Pepl are recorded.
