Harry Pepl * 1945  † 2005

trombone, piano, recorder

Christian Muthspiel

Released the tribute album “Against The Wind – The Music Of Pirchner & Pepl” in 2007. Already in 2001/02 he played the programme “Muthspiel & Muthspiel play Pepl-Pirchner” with his brother Wolfgang; in his own words, the Jazzzwio taught him „dass man in dieser Musik tatsächlich genau das machen konnte, was man selbst wollte“ [“that in this music you really could do exactly what you wanted yourself”].
