In the 1980s Pepl played gigs in Paris with him and Daniel Humair, sometimes with Werner Pirchner, the Austrian composer and vibraphonist, as a guest. The concert “Daniel Humair and Friends” on 30 May 1983 at the Théâtre de l'Atelier in Paris is documented (recording by Radio France).
