Black-and-white photo from the rehearsal for the “Habanero Slideshow” at the Salzburger Jazzherbst (jazz festival in Salzburg, Austria) in November 2004. The show by Rainer Rygalyk and Harry Pepl was the first to bring music of the Lonely Single Swinger Band to the stage with live musicians, in 2004. Harry Pepl (right) explains his music and his concepts to the young jazz musicians Lorenz Raab (trumpet, left), Wolfgang Schiftner (saxophone, centre) and Clemens Salesny (back). Saxophonist, born in 1982, co-founder of the JazzWerkstatt Wien. In 2006 he was the first to receive the Harry Pepl Prize; in 2004 he played live along to Pepl's recordings at the Salzburger Jazzherbst.
