About the title: Heckel calls the title an example of Pepl's verbal wit; it recalls Duke Ellington's "Far East Suite" and the standard "East of the Sun (West of the Moon)". What exactly Pepl meant cannot be established. "Far out" is also jazz slang for "extreme, way out".
