Man, Harry Pepl was first and foremost a wonderful human being. I am proud to call him a friend. His playing was fearless, and that's how we connected, reaching for new sounds, heights and letting the spirit move us. I miss him madly!
On Harry Pepl and their time together in the band Abstract Truth (“Beginnings”, 1994)
His musicianship was at a high level, and of course his proficiency and mastery of his instrument was indicative of a style all his own. I will cherish the music we made together, the laughter we shared and the love that moved between us.
