Harry Pepl: Beauty Hop (Flow, 1996)
“Beauty Hop” (Harry Pepl), track 1 of the solo piano album “Flow” (PAO Records, 1996), 6:50, recorded in the Brahms Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, home of the Vienna Philharmonic. According to Daniel Pepl, towards the end in hospital Harry Pepl said that playing alone and improvising in the Brahms Hall, and having it released, was the “leiwandste” (the finest) of it all. Prepared in 2020 for the Ö1 radio programme.
