The premiere was given on 1 April 2000 by the six musicians of STUDIO PERCUSSION graz at the Schömer-Haus in Klosterneuburg (Lower Austria, Austria), spread across the circular galleries around the audience. Afterwards Ewald Baringer wrote in the NÖN, the regional weekly of Lower Austria:
This was no bloodless composer at work, but a deeply feeling, very contemporary musician who has emotion and creative intelligence equally at his disposal.
The score is notated entirely by hand. Notation and editing were done by Georg Pepl, the composer's elder son, who edited his father's scores from the early 1990s.2
