Clemens Salesny
Co-initiator of the 2015 double CD and leader of the live line-up “Harry Pepl (tape) & The (Lonely) Single Swinger Band”; as early as 2004 he played along to Pepl's recordings at the Salzburger Jazzherbst; at the rehearsal there, Pepl himself explained his music and his concepts to him.
Saxophonist and bass clarinettist. Since 2015 he has shaped, together with Martin Bayer, the posthumous projects built around Pepl's recorded tracks, and in 2013 he received the Harry Pepl Prize.
